CARPEL TUNNEL SURGERY: A Cure To Carpel Tunnel Syndrome

We people while working or doing some other activities we generally feel numbness or pain or tingling in the hands. This is quite common but when it becomes unbearable and those tinkling effects seems to be present for the long time these conditions are called Carpel Tunnel Syndrome.
At the starting stages it can be cured by Wrist braces or by using corticosteroids but at the severe conditions there comes the Carpel Tunnel Surgery. Carpel Tunnel Syndrome is mainly caused due to the pressure to the median nerve this is why we get tingling feeling in all the other finger except the pinky finger.

There are two types of carpel tunnel release surgery: Open and Endoscopic Surgery. During this surgery doctors generally cuts the ligaments around the carpel tunnel to release the pressure and after the surgery the ligament generally seems to grow off.

In case of open surgery surgeons generally makes the cut or incision but whereas in the Endoscopic Surgery only a small hole is found to be made in the wrist this shows the recent advancement in surgery. In Endoscopic Surgery the cuts are usually smaller so that the  tiny camera are usually placed at the end so that it will guide the doctors in cutting through the ligaments. This makes the  surgeon to conduct the operation easier.
